I still have some days available for World Book Week.
I have written a good number of children’s books, mainly humorous and joke books. So I combine creative illustrating/cartooning and creative writing in my visits. Ideas are very important, so we spend some time on brainstorming sessions. Some children are not so happy with reading, so with these I will work on storyboards and graphic novels.
I was a very slow reader as a child and used to spend my time running about like a mad thing. Playing great imaginative games and drawing! …sitting still and reading was ‘too boring’ for me.
Until I discovered the wonderful world of books!
I still run around like a mad thing, but also spend time in a book.
And now I still run around like a mad thing, though not quite at the same speed and do all those other things I did as a child. But I will now take time in a book.
